GRC Kick Off the New Year
KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR FUN RUN
When: January 1, 2012 – 9am
Where: Zero mile marker (bottom of the zigzag) at San Gabriel Park next to the old Pedestrian Bridge. Free.
 
This is a come and run what you want event. Our suggestion is a 30 minute Out-N-Back on the Trail. Afterwards the group will be heading to a Social Breakfast at Taco Cabana. Come & Bring your Family and help us kick off 2012.
 

Vern’s No Frills 5K
Saturday, January 21st @ 8am

Calling All Runners… Get ready for Vern’s No Frills’ 5k on January 21st at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown. Bring your friends, co-workers and neighbors and $1 to sign-up to be a part of what is becoming a 3rd Saturday tradition. Race starts at 8am. Registration starts at 7am. Proceeds benefit Berry Springs Park.

 

Want to trail run?
Georgetown Trail Runners (GTR) is the newest part of GRC and currently meets most Sunday mornings at 8:00AM.  Most workouts are 30 minutes out & 30 minutes back.  Hikers & runners of all abilities welcome.  Dogs & kids are also welcome.

Our base… We currently use Lake Georgetown as home base to help beginners and veterans rekindle a love for the beauty of our community’s scenery.
