Calling All Runners… Get ready for Vern’s No Frills’ 5k on February 18th at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown.

Bring your friends, co-workers and neighbors and $1 to sign-up to be a part of what is becoming a 3rd Saturday tradition. Race starts at 8am. Registration starts at 7am. Proceeds benefit Berry Springs Park.
 

GRC Presents the Opossum Creek 10k

The Georgetown Running Club is hosting the Opossum Creek 10K. Challenge your family, friends, and co-workers to come out and run on the beautiful country roads between Georgetown and Granger. The race will feature a timed one loop 10K run/walk with 5 year age group awards, sponsor booths, and tons of fun! Paved course that is ideal for the walker to the competitive runner and everything in between. Great for strollers too!

Proceeds from the race will go to The Ronald Kasper Humanitarian Fund that was established by a group of family, friends, and peers in the medical field to honor Dr Robert Kasper who was an avid runner and passed away in January 1999 after a fight with glioblastoma. This fund has helped people from Georgetown, Texas to Peru, South America to Kenya and Malawi, Africa to Romania!
 

Pick Up Your Feet 5K
Pick UP Your Feet for Parkinson’s 5k
When: Sunday April 15th, 2012 – 8am
Where: Williamson County Regional Park
 
Runners and Walkers of all ages are invited and can be accompanies by dogs. The race will start and finish inside Williamson County Park; this is a certified (TX10036ETM) two loop traffic free course with one water stop. Spectators are welcome and there is plenty of seating inside the stadium. 1 Mile Walk and Children’s Fun Run inside the stadium.
